*Please note that this home features a sunken living area, creating a change in floor level between the living room and kitchen/dining areas. These spaces are separated by a sturdy balustrade with wider spacing between the balusters, which may present a safety risk for infants, toddlers, and young children.
To help ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, we recommend this property for families with children aged 8 years and over and do not consider it suitable for infants, toddlers or younger children. Children should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, particularly when in and around the sunken living area and balustrade.*
The house was so lovely with beautiful views. Was nice to sit at the fire with a coffee, look out the full size windows and enjoy the view of the mountains across the tops of the gum trees, birds, kangaroos to watch grazing among the trees. Very relaxing and peaceful. It is nice to be out of town but not to far from the shops. The host was lovely, I fell they would do anything you need to make you comfortable. I would like to go back again.
A great place to stay with family and friends.
This accommodation is one of the best that I've been to. The location was very peaceful, the lot was massive, the views were nice. The host was also very responsive, which made the trip run so smoothly. Would love to be back!
we had a beautiful 😍 stay lovely surroundings and very responsive pro active host - we had technical issues one day and the host sent someone out immediately to fix - we felt right at home and that view was stunning and theroatrical with all the weather and hot air balloons over the clouds while we sat by the fire 🔥
One of the positives to our stay, was the well-stocked kitchen, but we were overall disappointed. The house appeared much older and worn than shown on the listing photos, and we felt it was not well maintained. The floors and bedrooms were dusty. The bunk bed room had visible spider webs on the ceiling and insects on the brick walls. In the adjoining house, there were insects in the bathroom and the bedroom curtains were broken and could not fully cover the windows. This affected privacy and allowed light into the room, which disrupted our baby’s sleep. The toilet in the main house did not flush properly and required multiple attempts and waiting between flushes, which was inconvenient for a large group. I would not recommend this property for families with toddlers. My baby could not play freely because space between the balusters on the balustrade separating the kitchen/dining from the living was very wide that a young child could fall through, which is a safety concern/ hazard.
Awesome house, fantastic hosts. Hope to be back soon!
